Default Good time at Bowman

Took the 89 or car #2 out to the track for it's first shakedown run. I ran a 8.94 on motor and an 8.23 on a 50 shot. 60 ft on the 50 shot was a 1.92.

My oldest son Thomas outdrove his oldman and ran a 8.00 with a 1.81 60ft. on the 50 shot. I moved up to a 90 shot and spun the tires and only ran an 8.20.

All in all we were happy with how the car ran for it's first time out. Not too bad for a stock 302 - AOD car with 4.30's and drag radials. I did find out that the car ran faster with letting the tranny shift by itself. MPH was higher when manually shifted, but slower ET.

Ronald we had a good time today. We will come back!
