We are trying to gauge intrest in custom paint work and how much you would pay for a custom paint paint job buffed slick in one color done the right way. Please help us out by letting us know how much you would be willing to pay.

what brand paint? Does that include all the prep work and smoothing it out trying to make the vehicle be considered a "best of paint" vehicle at shows for example? Door jams, under the hood , truck etc etc.

Brand name paint, body work and slick as glass paint. You know the OMG it looks like wet paint. Jambs, trunk and under side of hood.

For a House of Kolors candy paint job, on a straight rust free and medium sized body I would be willing to pay 5K for a finished product. Paint job would include three coats of clear, skunk stripes, pin striping, door jams and painting the under-side of the hood and deck lid are to be included.

Curious what some of the other auto refinishing pro's on here have to say about this thread!!!!

If you give a discount to carolinahorsepower forum members, its a good marketing tool..
