I brazed that bitch up, it holds a ton of nitrous LMAO......... Just FYI, If your looking for a leak on your house A/C. nitrous line screws rite on to the freon fittings..... Works like a champ for finding leaks in your system, I found about 8 when I put about 400 psi of nitrous in the lines.
Hal, Im ready to get it sucked clean and freon added for the last time....... thank god

I have a leak on my house ac in the worst way...so you put the nitrous line on the freon fittings...put some nitrous in there...found the leaks...and then brazed the lines with residual nitrous in the lines...just want to know if it's safe...or if you did something different...I really need to get this done...lol
thanks |

I used nitrous because I didn't have nitrogen, and I was told not to use compressed air because it adds moisture to the system.

With that much pressure in them, you could hear it....... then I went around with soapy water in a spray bottle to find the rest.

Your extra flame power was likely due to the 33% oxygen content of the N2O residual in you system. Atmospheric air is typically only 19-22% oxygen content.
The 66% nitrogen content of nitrous helps make the 33% oxygen side a little bit more stable and predictable to work with. |

I could just imagine trying to tell the A/C guy that the compressor had a Nitrous backfire and thats what caused the cover to blow off
