Default Don't use Dish Network

Ok Rant Time. Long story short. Signed a 2 years agreement with them. After 6 months the bill will be xxx. Well guess what it wasn't it was 21 dollars more. Not alot of money but it is the principle of the matter. Of course I called them and there attitude is that is what the bill is. What is the point of locking into a two year agreement if they don't have to honor it. This isn't over by no means. SO BEWARE OF DISH NETWORK.

I have been with DirecTV since ~1994, they have been up to some crazy stuff lately. When you buy new equipment your signed up for 2 years. If you decide to cancel that equipment after 2 years you have to send that equipment back. So basically you are paying to lease the equipment......and their HD DVR equipment is expensive.

That's the way they've always done it, their promotional price only lasts for 6 months then they go to their regular price.

I understand the 6 month period. But, we have paperwork saying that the monthly charge was suppose to be a set price.

i was with Dish for ~8 years, and they wanted to KILL me on switching to HDTV, so we went to direct.

the direct Rep said "after the 6 months, just call in, and they let you KEEP the promo price"

he was a Liar.

it's all the same, they screw you somehow.

you can get about 12 digital off the air channels now. that's pretty good, and they are CLEAR.

I have dish network and I have a 2 year contract that switches over the price after the first year instead of the first 6 months

Well fuck comcast while we're at it.

Their internet is slow as fuck. I live on base with all these fucking geek assholes who hog up the internet doing whatever geek shit they do and Comcast's response is it's up to the 2meg speed. It's not DSL, so why the hell would it slow it down sooooo much? I have no clue and I have never got that speed. When I first signed up with them I had ALL the channels for the same that I'm paying now to have NO movie channels. Fucking cocksuckers all around.
