Default A suggestion for Bowman track

Alot of racers dont know about Bowman track and how nice of a track it is and it seems like Stock Suspention and Backhalf races has gotten really popular very fast with very good turnouts as far as racers and spectators. So maybe Bowman should have one.(including test n tune and grudge racing)

Anyone agree?

They did have some pro mods run out there awhile back. It was about 6 of them or so. They were running 4.6-4.7 if I remember right. None of them had problems stopping or even used there chutes. Its no worse than dorchester for shut down IMO. The only problem I ever had shutting down there is when I stayed in it a little to long past the traps. You really want to pay close attention to where your at on the track.

Do these upgrade include converting it into a 1/4 mile track? I would love to see a closer 1/4 track than Jackson and Darlington.

Yep. I feel the same way because Jackson is a sleeper road. There are a lot of racers in the area that a 1/4 mile track will do good for.

+ 1 for the 1/4 mile suggestions, I am fed up with crappy (or in dorchester's case &#$@&#%#) 1/8 mile tracks as my only option. 1/8th is okay but 1/4 is where its at.

I'd be in favor of a time display. I'm probably the only one, but when spectating it is much better to see the times. Then for the people that don't want their times displayed must ask for or put on their car the n/t for no time.

Not trying to start anything, but if you cant make a good 1/8th mile pass, then whats the point in wanting a 1/4? I understand Dorc. isnt the best, but unless you have a wes turbo, the 1/8th is where you'll be getting most of your et. Just my .02. Id love a 1/4 mile track too though.

I agree. In my junk the driving is over by the 1/8th. Just riding after that.

just the feeling of getting over 100 mph is awesome lol I can just about accelerate through the 1/8 legally lol. Yes I know my car is slow. Besides I haven't ever gone to a NHRA/IHRA national event to see cars running 1/8 mile.....Car magazines never brag that such and such car can run xxxx in the 1/8 mile....its all about the 1/4 mile, the ol' 1320 baby! BTW define "but if you cant make a good 1/8th mile pass, then whats the point in wanting a 1/4?" If you want to throw down in fisticuffs, fine. I've got Jack Johnson and Tom O'Leary waiting for you, right here....
