Thank you everyone! We don't have a bumpsteer kit. I'm not sure what it will do for the car if we put it on there. I was not to worried about it since the only thing this car does is straight line driving on the track. Maybe someone can give us some pro's & con's. If it's wothwhile, I will install one.

The project is going a little slow since I don't have alot of time to work on it. We sneak in the time when we can. My sons also help out too when they can. Just trying to be meticulous about everything so we don't do things twice (which we already have). We hope it will be complete by the end of July so we will have time to work out any bugs.

We did get registered for Pinks All Out this October in Bristol!

Maybe you'll have better luck with you time line than I did. I never could seem to hit a projected date. Looks good.

Thanks Harry. I think we will hit our timeline fairly close. We have all the materials on hand to finish the car except for the steel braid fuel hose. I have some fab work to do for the fuel cell install. My oldest son is not playing any summer baseball since he just had shoulder surgery last month to repair some torn cartilage. We just want to be ready soon enough for pinks all out.

What carb. did you wind up going with on your car?

NICE HEADERS!

bump steer is the amount your geometry changes thru the range of motion as the car raises and lowers. on my challenger, my front tires toe in very bad as the front end lifts

Harry, I have a quick fuel Q-750 on there now. It's probably too small. I picked it up very cheap though. We both thought it was at least an 850. We will try it first and see what happens.

Ray, Thanks on the headers, they are Kooks 1-7/8 primary's with 3.5" collectors. I like the slip on collectors as you can take the individual tubes out. It made installing them real easy. They are stainless and I bought them from Buddy, he's a Kooks dealer now.

Derek, We have been out of the game for about a month now. We've been to Dorchester a couple of times to spectate. It's a little different not having anything to run for now.
I think it will be worth the wait though.
