I love those caddies certainly on my long must have list. Unfortunately must have cars are coming out faster than I can acquire them.

used is still in the 40's. You might be able to search and get one in the 30's.

I have to say I am not surprised by the Caddy winning that drag race. Kind of curious as to why the CTS 'squirted' forward on what seemd to be the 1-2 shift. Maybe it was the GT500 getting owned by Ford's shitty traction control system. Either that, or Goodyear's useless F1 Supercar tires.

Great choice! I used to drive them a lot when I was working at Hendrick. They are a great car.

I figured since the mustang lost the race that it had to be due to: 1. driver error. 2. shitty tires. 3 forgot to remove traction control. 4. anything but the mustang just plain lost. Want to explain the pull ahead on the 1-2 shift. Check out the tranny in my 07 v6 CTS next time and you will see the manual override 5 speed. It's also a 6 speed auto in the 08+ models. I need to take the v6 to the track and see if I can get it into the 8's. CTS-V's are just plain awesome and have a good size trunk and can carry passengers too in the rear searing area. They also ride a heck of a lot smoother than the Stang.

I wasn't trying to make excuses. I was merely pointing out that GM has obviously created a superior automobile. The TC and the tires are only part of the equation. Not to be used as excuses. They are only to be moted as shortfalls of decisions made by Ford's Special Vehicles Team. It it true that I bleed Ford blue; but it is a crying shame when the 'king of the street' GT500 gets its ass handed to it by a flipping Caddy. My hat's off to General Motors for creating a truely awesome machine.

The end of the vid shows who is the real boss on the road............With some good tires the Shelby would have beat the Caddy from the line as well.

why are they comparing a luxury 4 door sports sedan loaded to the gills with gadgets(commuter car/touring) to a full blown sports car with all the bells and whistles(track package) what a joke.
id rather push the cts-v any day over a mustang.. no brainer.. and the new boss mustang thing looks like complete garbage. looks like we may be balling ford out next.
