Default Whats up guys?

Most know me...Shane. It's been about a year since I left and got stationed is crappy South Texas. Looking forward to getting back to SC for my last duty station after these next 3 years. Traded the yellow SC GT in on a Caddy for a daily driver. I get like 500mpg to an 18 gallon tank. Nice for a 32v v8 boat! Still working on the Cobra here and there. Since I left I got a KenneBell installed, DD FR500s, and painted the hood and some other mods. She looks perfect to me, need to finish up the fuel system and tune. Then I start on suspension. Should be around 600rwhp in a month or two. Nearest track here is about 2 hours, then Edingburg at 3 hours. Few pics..later guys-Shane

Welcome Hotrod! After that first time to the track, I didn't think you would slow down from going.

Nice to hear from you Shane. I too would like to get back to Charleston for my next duty station but it looks like I'll be stuck in the midwest for a couple of years for now. I bought a lightning and I've been thru a couple of engines now, so all I can say is "make sure you get a new tune after each major mod".

Thanks guys I know how that is Jason, I just had my engine replaced cause of 7 and 8 piston. Ford did it under warranty and got stronger pistons and some 4v heads that were designed in 05. Car runs strong with KB but need a better tune to say the least. Its crazy down low but think the car has more to give up top. Good hearing from you guys-Shane

DOne the coolant mod yet, I hear it solves alot of 7&8 issues on the 4vs, alot of the 2v guys do it for insurance as well

No need for the head cooling mod. Ford has redesigned the 03/04 heads in 05 which they now install on all their replacement engines along with upgraded pistons. Or..so I was told....SHAUN?!?!. Now they circulate correctly from what I am told. Uhm..Corpus sucks my balls. Houston is even worse..I miss Florida and SC Next duty station might be San Diego though since this base is moving there-Shane

Could have them install the coolant mod on the back of the heads. That would help out also.
