Default Metal valvestems

So I'm finally pulling the hoosiers off and picking up some Mickey Thompson's. I ran tubes with the hoosiers and now I'm stuck with a 5/8 valve stem hole.

I found some valve stems and I'm just looking to see if anyone has input on some good ones out there.

Thanks guys!

Most all valve "stems" are the same size.. but the holes in the rims are either .453 or .625....You can pretty much mix and match most any solid stem (brass, aluminum, and chrome)... or there's always the good ol rubber ones

Yeah I had to drill them out to .625 so the tube stems would fit. Just seeing if anyone found those "junk" ones not to use.

As with any rubber over time they get old and brittle.... that and watch for corrosion.. happens alot more than you'd think... I'd say to get true aluminum stems for an aluminum wheel... jegs and summit both sell them...

Sounds good thanks guys.

I might end up having to sell these rims anyway. It looks like the size tires I need with Mickey T's are not made in 16's There are not really any sizes for a 16" rim anywhere.

There is much more tire selection with 15's.
