Getting the Nitrous tune on Thursday from ATS

I just got off the phone with Rick @ ATS and I'm scheduled to go up there on Thursday to get tuned. I'm gonna get an XCal2 and 3 tunes. I'll be getting a street tune, a race tune (boost only) and a race/nitrous tune. I can't wait to see what this NX set-up will do. Then it'll be time to hit the track and get the numbers that count. Wish me luck.

I was gonna go to Pro-Dyno for the tune, but decided to go with ATS instead. Nothing against Pro-Dyno, it's just that ATS is a little bit better known in the Lightning community and they offered me a better deal.

Coming from the guy with a L with a blown motor

There were 3 that were faster than me. Now there are only 2 due to a blown motor on Franks truck. Hopefully everyone elses truck will hold up. Id rather be slower than not moving at all b/c I dont have a money tree like others on here have.

That's right my daily driver took a dump, but the drag car sits in yard.....waiting!!!

As far as the Lightning.....It is going back to stock and never will see the track again other than towing!!! So if you want to play, it will be in the Mustang!!!

That's weird. This is the only place I've heard bad things about them. Everyone on SVTP and NLOC have had nothing but great experiences.

To tell you the truth, as long as I get in the mid 10's and the engine stays in one piece, I don't care what Rick does to my truck. If him taking a shit on my hood would get me in the low tens, I'd pull his pants down and wipe for him when he's done.

On NLOC negative stuff may be deleted before you get a chance to read it. Some of my posts were deleted, and they weren't even negative. They were just questions about the accuracy of their simulated dyno.

They are a supporting vendor on both of those websites. Any negative posts about them gets deleted and the person who does so gets banned. Notice that the same people on NLOC always post in any thread that mentions them. Good luck, I'm sure it will work out.

I have had no personal dealings with them, but unsatisfied customers are a lot louder than happy ones

Damn Jeff...now I know why Amazon was so touchy about my posts. They have been gettting some bad press on that site for years.

I was going by what people told me locally that probably never read that forum.......it's cool that modular ford doesn't over moderate like NLOC.

If you are interested Dan has a deal going that if he does not get you a gain you only pay for the dyno time. So get your ATS tune take it to the track and if you are happy great if not , give Dan a call and if he can't get you more then you are only out $75-$100 and the time you are there. Hopefully ATS works out for you.
