![]() The Non-Dyslexic Version And for the questions that will obviously come up, yes it was pump 93, and thr reason for low MPH is his 180* downstream air temps had dropped the timing from 8* (yes his max timing was 8*) to 5.75 by the end of the run. BTW thats a Gerald built tranny and a Cameron converter, the SOB sounds like a power-glide running down the track. Its the only Lightning I have ever heard that you cant even hear the 1-2 shift and the log barely shows it, it happens so fast that everytime he made a pass it sounded like he left it in second because all I heard was the 2-3 at the other end of the track.

I would like to compare mine to his? as I said I did My home work Ford wanted 7700 hundred, I paid 3500.00 for mine with a 10 clutch intermeadiate clutch pack, Ours has a 5 clutch pack, my clutches are Kevlar, and when it goes to OD and the converter locks it feels like a Gear, I and pleased with it. Good job on the tune and build I Pmed you for a weld on bungs AND never herd nothing back I don't have ss Mig Have a great Weekend, I have a Extended cab truck from California that I will be at the track soon with a prp and I mwant to make it Haul A$$ might hook up with you if you will TKS Mitch!!

I'm sure it will hold up fine, and if it don't, I KNOW Gerald stands behind his work, but I dont have any doubts.
Best way to compare is 4000$ shipped for a BTS and 1000$ for a PI converter vs Less than half that for a 12" Cameron converter and Gerald do do his thing. I didn't get your PM and I dont have SS wire for a mig gun, I use carbon and paint it. I thaught you baught OBX's? They come with bungs in resonators, too many of them' I had to plug some up on all of our trucks. |
