Default walmart bs

today i took my 2005 gto to walmart for a oil change. my wife wanted to walk around there so i thought to get it done. after about 10 minutes they page me overhead to come to the automotive dept. they told me that the engine was not the stock one and they would not do the change. i told them it is the same block all it had was a stroker kit and heads and cam. he told me that they could not start it and would not work on it. i told them that was crap and walked to the car that they parked around the back. funny how they could manage to do that .lol. they have changed the oil on the car before. what a bunch of morons.

Yeah, I've had my Altima serviced at Walmart the last two times and the last time I got it done I noticed that they were using the cheapest brand of motor oil on their selves, I didn't even recognize the brand, so if I ever do go back their I will be asking for the premium oil or do it myself.

i tried to buy some skinnies once, they asked what it was for, i told them it doesn't matter just order me the tire size i ask for, i dont need it mounted... the dude said he was refusing because i wouldn't tell him what it was going on. i said fine a vw, he said "nope not selling it because i don't believe you". i asked if they were allowed to to sell without knowing the make and he said yes but i am not going to. i told him to fuck himself and left.

Thats when I would have gone to the front of the store to talk to the manager and that bastard tire tech woulda been lookin for a new job. Its not his position to pass judgement on what the tires are for. What if you had told him they were for your kids science project.. would he have not sold them to you then? Hindering the educational development of tomorrows leaders.. SCREW WAL-MART!

The wife had a similar experience there. She has a WS6 and I have a Z28. We had swapped wheels and she went up there to get new tires put on my wheels. Since her car originally came with 17 inch wheels and she now had my 16's they wouldn't put them on.

They told her they wouldn't put those little 16 inch tires on a "performance vehicle" like that. So.....she goes home and swaps them over to my car and they did it no problem.

I guess her mostly stock car requires high performance tires and my little 383 car doesn't? Pretty gay.

They are tards there at the GC walmart. When I took the mustang there awhile back, they did NOT want to put full synthetic oil in it because of HIGH MILEAGE and the car did not list that as an option. I bought the stuff and did it my stuff

Lesson learned here?

Don't use Wal-Mart for automotive maintenance.

I've worked as a merchandiser for Pepsi for the last 4 years. With that said, my job has taken me to MANY Wal-Mart stores during that time. I've seen people go from stocking-groceries to changing oil just because they were tired of their department. They're definitely not the place I would trust changing my oil.

Boy they would really play hell with the LTD, because due to the vacuum pump, there is nowhere to pour the oil back in, I normally pull the distributor. You have to be careful at those places, just remember they get oil changing experience at Walmart, and move up to car dealerships, and sometimes even open their own shop...
