I'd still take the '11 V-6 Mustang over the V-6 Genesis Coupe.

No way id spend 25k on a Hyundai. I like how the genesis only beat the mustang in one category by .4 seconds but got the top spot.

Just read about that in Motor Trend. Just remember, test results are not everything; and cars are a very personal choice. If we all bought what the car mags wanted us to, we'd all be in 3 Series BMWs.

In the GT world there are people get significantly better et's than the mags did on completely stock cars. I see no reason to believe that would not also be the case with the V6 guys.

Thing is, NOONE buys a car based solely on its performance. A car is an emotional item. People drive cars that, typically, make them feel good. That's why there are so many different models, trim levels, colors, engine combos,... you get the idea. It drives me batty when someone throws out how there car is better simply because some magazing douche ran the quarter .1 faster. An example: Hell, they could make a Camaro SS run 11s and cost 25 grand; but you would not see me ever buying one. I just am not a fan of the overall package. Not a bad car, by any means, you just wouldn't see me handing over my hard earned for 5 years just to have one. Another: (Note: This is not a personal attack-just being logical) Why would anyone choose a Lightning as their platform to go fast? Any idiot with a check book can pick up a used Fox and pay a shop to make it run the same slip, as the truck, for (likely) half the money. You guys do it because the Lightning touches something in your subconsious that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Anyway, back on point: Rob, buy what makes you happy. Buy what you think is worth paying for over the next however many years. Do your research. Test drive the options. Don't let anyone sway your (and Tara's) decisions. YOU have to drive it. Like I have said to people, who give me a hard time about my taste in cars, "You don't have to make the payments, so STFU". My .02 (And then some)

Like I said, everyone has their own reasons for their vehicle choices.
