I was kind of expecting it since the battery is 4 years old but I didn't expect it today. That's how these things usually happen...

Ive heard bad things about optima's. I know a guy whoes had 3 go bad. If you let them sit any length of time they go bad.

I went thru 3 in my cobra, at least Advanced Auto replaced them no questions ask. But they are a POS and I switched to a lightweight Dyna-Batt that weighed 13 lbs.
Braille also makes one that weighs just 6 lbs.
