Default Worth trying?

Considering putting the truck up for sale. The Silverados have some good rebates on them now and could really use a crew cab. Anyway, since the truck was being setuo for street/strip, would it be worth taking it to the drag strips with a for sale sign on it? Has anyone had any luck with that?

I already got a price from the dealer. It is a bit low if you can imagine.

Not sure yet. I was thinking $8,000.

KBB has it about $7200. Just put a new set of Nitto 420s on the SSS wheels (rims and tires could be sold for $1k). I throw the stock rims in the back with a spare 4l60e ($200), headlights, stock converter, and stock pulleys.

possibly interested in the rims/tires if you decide to separate... hell, i'd love to have the whole truck but the regular cab, although my favorite aesthetically, isn't practical enough for me
