Default My truck at track....slower than brandon

Here ya go. 1st night out. All shakedown passes. Trying to get it to launch without bogging or wheelspin. Couldn't get the power to the ground. So hence why the rear end and suspension is being worked on.

Video only shows partial as the rest is a waste of time and would make it a 3 hour video of the slow runs. It is slow. It is not fast. Working on getting it faster without using shit parts. If you got a problem with not seeing it run its slow maiden voyages than eat another dick .

Sorry if it doesn't meet your standards. But I don't give a rats ass. Building it to have fun. Not to be a grudgeracer by any means. The truck is a project for some of us to enjoy.

Btw, transmission is leaking after that night. Which I will fix it before it goes out again. But that is not a priority right now. We need to get the truck moving in 1st gear instead of just falling on its face. Truck seems faster on the street. But we are not setting it up to street race.

Why would you trailer it all the way to Bowman to run it on the dragstrip?

For the following

1. Breakage of parts. (long way to push back home)
2. Have towpig and trailer at disposal to do such a thing
3. Had friends that wanted to go and we all piled in the towpig
4. Gas mileage is not ideal on my black truck
5. A/c in towpig
6. Because we can

Going 9 inch with a 4.56 gear. Running a 28" tall mt drag radial.

Other items are being addressed also. Like heads, cam, intake , and a set of "caltracs" knockoffs. Still on stock leaves with no traction devices.

Took the truck out to get a feel of it at the track and found the problem areas to adjust. i.e. rear gear and traction devices.

Cutting 2.1-2.4 (I think that was the max) on the 60 foot.

Was trapping mid 80's. Slowest being 79.xx as it was first pass .

No nitrous passes that night. Hell, I don't even have the entire kit hooked up right now.

Hell I am game. But of course (insert excuse) it will have to wait until changes are made. As my truck sits it will be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Got them ready to finish being hooked up. Rather get the suspension and gearing dialed in first. Can't do shit without getting it planted and not wheelhopping like a mother. Was actually surprised that the rear held together with as much axle hop and wheel hop it got.

be careful that you don't end up with the wrong gear when you go to shoot it.
