lol I just copied/pasted the rules. I guess "W's" Don't count in a "street-car race".

Guys, please don't try to find a reason "not to race". This is a very reasonable, relaxed set of rules, designed to let most of the cars on the site race together. If you have fun, does it really matter if you don't win the points? It's not like you're paying an entry fee. If you were, then I can understand. If I had a car, I'd be in it even if I had to race against the slowest of cars on the list. At least I'd be racing one weekend a month.

The main objectives are to keep this deal simple and most of all have the participants be in REAL street cars.
No need to make it any more complicated. And for the guys complaining about seats...if you have no plans to put the passenger's seat back in your ride, then don't make plans to run the Top Dog races. |

It keeps getting reiterated that this is a street car event, so meeting up and cruising a short distance to the track should not be a problem for anyone on the list. I personally think it would add some fun to the event.

One...They only allow stock suspension cars. I know there are a couple, if not more, street cars on this board that do not have stock suspension. Two...While a cruise would be fun and would possibly expose a car that isn't exactly streetable, the fact is that it would take a fair amount of time and effort to get it organized and completed. It would just add more complications to something we are trying to keep as simple as possible. |
