Default Auto trans cooler

Are the trans coolers that are built into radiators under pressure?? I am thinking of trying to use one as an oil cooler when I do my turbos

It is under pressure, I am just not sure how much. I would not use it as an oil cooler, the cooling capacity may not be good enough. Would make a great power steering cooler, though. (If you still are running P/S that is.)
