IRS, notice it didn't get the ET from 60' it only 60'd 1.54. MPH was where it was at! ........ They should have just used the CTS-V record and called it good, aftertall its the same car with a different body.

I'm not a roots style blower guru, so I'm speculating here; but isn't that indicative of a roots style blower in a heavy vehicle?

I always thought that a roots style blower made stupid torque very fast......and a centrifical made more up top, but slightly less down low. At least that was the way it was when I had a Novi 1200 and a buddy had a b&m 144.....

I know the Cobras and Lightnings make lots of torque fast, especially with the Whipples and KB's. I don't know much about the TVS blowers, nor the Magnusens though.....

No, the roots are usually strong there and fall off up top. You could tell they were scared of it exploding the rear, they didn't even stall it or get in to it till around 20 ft out.

I've never had anything but roots blowers on mine and at just over 5,000lbs ive cut 1.49's.

Exactly, and as far as the Whipple and KB's. The KB's are usually better down bottom and the Whipple better up top.

I love the cts-v's. I was next to a sweet one in Savannah today. If I had the money for one of those cars I'd have it now. I think that's the next one for me if I get a real jobby job that pays me what I'm worth.
