Two new shooters for your visual pleasure.
First, Para Ordnance 5" Expert model 1911. Got it for a steal, decided I wanted to keep it. ![]() First things first, some Hogue G-mascus grips. Yes, they are thick 9/32" but they fit my hand perfectly. They are G-10 layered like damamscus and then shaped and textured. Also did the mainspring housing ![]() 1911 is currently stripped down to the frame. Gonna duracoat some parts tactical dark grey to match the grips. Duracoating trigger/hammer/mag release/safety/slide release/grip safety/barrel bushing. Should look pretty cool once done. A wise man once told me every grown man should own a Ruger mark I/II/III, so I grabbed up this bad boy BNIB at a helluva price. Ruger Mark III competition target model 6.75" ![]() I have ordered an UltraDot MatchDot 1x red dot in silver to put on her. Should be fun. Here's a google pic with the matchdot
