Drag pack is generally a term used for a set of light weight wheels, with tires made up with a sticky compound of rubber. They are mounted on a vehicle that would be used for drag racing. A combined purchase of these items would be called a package. There for I believe the term drag pack comes from that. I am not sure where you can get some for a 88 Trans Am, you can try Pep Boys or Autozone, some place that is more familiar with those type of vehicles.
