Low boost, high boost, who cares....If you make 330 whp and run a mid 7< I have more respect for you than the next guy making 550 and cant get out of the 8s...Just sayin.

Speed is not cheap as most know. Unless you know what you are doing tuning a forced induction V6 for HP, then it is best you stick with a V8 for your power needs.

Ahem....ZR1...

Can't argue with you there, but don't base the lack of love for mustangs on the slowest turd ever produced by Ford.

Well here is my two cent's. There really is two questions you have to ask yourself. One, is this your primary driver? Two, how fast? I learned the hard way when I was younger dumping alot of mod money in your dd is so much fun. But it suck's when you break it and there's no one to take you to work the next morning ,and you have to do a late night repair job. Don't get me wrong though! A little go with a cool Idle may be what your looking for. But' if you get addicted to wrenching and speed, buy a project car. It's just easier.

BTW Slowgreen99 suggestion's a good setup ffor the money imo.

too bad you always have to stop off and have the bottle filled if you want to have some fun

take the same amount of money and buy a used M90 setup off ebay from a supercoupe or xr7 and grab a chip for another $200 and you'll be set with some decent extra power.

That's all well and good. But it isn't as easy as paying some money for stuff and slapping it on.

yeah it is. everything bolts right on. I know, I did it to my little brother's v6 mustang.

ok, well in order to get use the SC intercooler setup on the car I had to cut the mustang's radiator fan down a little and use those ziptie holders for radiators from the parts store but big whoop.

car is much more fun to drive now and he doesnt always have to stop at the parks on rivers to fill up a bottle. he just stomps the gas pedal.

Sell the v6 and save up to buy a gt or something. It will be faster and a whole lot cheaper in the long run. If you insist on modding the six nitrous is about your best bet for cheap and effective.

He wanted easy, simple power. The guy I saw convert his to a Sc Tbird set up was a pain. From the wiring harness changes, to the computer, ect. If you want to spend that kind of money, put a 4.6 mod motor or a 302 in it and call it a day. It will make V6 supercharged power on motor only for the most part, and its about the the same money. Or go to a 4.2 V6 out of the F150 truck, its alot beefier, and the transmission will bolt right up. None of the options are as cheap as nitrous, but I personally don't care what he does, mine runs fine with or without nitrous..
