Okay. I just spent about an hour and a half searching ModularFords. I typed in "Amazon" and searched the entire forum and I must say that I am not swayed even in the least in letting Rick tune my truck. There are far, far, far more positive testimonials about ATS than negative ones. And all of the negative stories sound like a bunch of haters just whining about stupid stuff than can easily be explained. I have no agenda or motives to defend ATS as I haven't had them tune my truck... yet... But all of the hoopla on that forum seems bogus to me.

Yes there are haters on every forum . I guess all the good posts are gone on there I haven't been on there in quite awhile . I visited there reguarly when I had my 03 Cobra . Atleast there is some negative stuff there since on the other 2 major forums anything ATS related in a negative way gets deleted .

To make a long story short. This was from a thread(on NLOC that got deleted by mods) where I expressed I was dissatisfied with my current tuner.

I have sent the datalogs,I have sent numerous e-mails explaining my problem(s) I have sent video(s) showing my problems, I have baught other equiptment to try to nail down my problems, I have adjusted the tunes in the tuner using the available options for the parameters that were out of wack (Band-Aid) but there are too many things I cannot fix with the options in the tuner.

I have tunes from other tuners prior to taking my buisness to amazon. After switching back and forth between tunes I notice that some of my main problem(s) are resolved by flashing them in, but additional problems are created due to the additional modifications that were not in the tune design. These tunes usually took 2-3 months to get a fix or reply. That is the reason I took my buisness to Amazon ,the response time was leaps and bounds greater, But the problem(s) were never solved.

Agreed, there are two sides to every story I am a firm beliver of that. Perhaps the reason they do not bring their complaints to this forum may be because. (a) this is not the place to complain about their problems (b) They fear reprocussions from moderators due to complaining about a SV of a forum that they enjoy to read and take part in.

I have even recieved PM's from other participants on this forum explaining the problem similarities to mine and I understand their hesitation to post.
But in my case this thread was not started as (a) above and as for (b) If that did happen I would fall on the floor laughing and be gald I was not part of that kind of immaturity.

Agreed, and I have tried

Just as you have.

All of this is past tense and now I currently am a happy customer of Power Surge Performance Sal's tunes were well above the quality of Rick's tunes.

In the begining when I first modded my truck I run my best time with Sal's tune. I went to Amazon because, Sal to make it plain an simple is very slow at updating tunes. But I have learned my lesson, better to be patient and wait for a good thing than to rush to get something less.

I'm at ATS right now. We just got the L on the rollers and it's cooling down. We're gonna do some pulls with the chip I have in it right now to see what it'll do and then Rick will start tuning. I'll update with numbers as they come.

Well we're done. The 75 shot made 671/778 and it was pig rich. We went ahead and jetted it for a 100 shot just for S's & G's and it made 701/828 with an A/F around 10.8. Nice and safe. So far I'm very satisfied with ATS and what Rick's done with my truck. I can't wait to get this thing to the track and see what it'll do.

Great numbers. We'll have to get a track day together and see how well all of these trucks with the built motors run. The rest of us slow pokes can make passes first so you guys will look good.

If you mean here, no, we have no tracks. As soon as I get the calipers shaved down to fit the Bogarts I'm gonna be coming up your way a lot.

Thanks. It'll be cool to meet you too. I'm running a fully build engine. JDM short block, LFP Stage II heads, Crower Stage II Cams. None of the pulls went past 5300 RPM's.

I just got home from my trip. I had quite a while to test the new street tune and I must say I'm impressed. It runs much smoother now even with the weak O2 sensors. I got on it a few times while I was on the interstate and all I can say is...RAPED APE!!!! The A/F's looked perfect on my Innovate Wideband. I'm very pleased with what Rick has done with my truck. Now the true test will be when I get it to the strip....
