I just dont see a way to control a plane that goes that fast, in 30 seconds that plane could be over 3.3 miles away, how far do those remotes work? not to mention the added altitude.

Depends on what frequency the remote operates at. Hell we've controlled stuff on mars remotely.

I see no reason at all why this would be fake. Search youtube there jet rc planes everywhere.

Some of them have cameras and operate much like a U.A.V. for the military. When its out of your line of sight you look at a little screen on the remote. A friend back in cali had one.... Not sure how fast it was but it was big enough to where he had to get a permit to fly it. Thing cost more then some new cars too.

And for the "cell phone" geeks they have IP based cameras that will load the real time flight image to a phone app for you to view as well....
