Sorry no pics yet b/c it hurt to get out of bed right now. Yesterday was the hardest and longest I have worked in a looooong time.
First of all I want to say Thank You to Randy. Without your help I could have never got this done. It friends like you that makes me glad Im part of Carolina Horsepower. After about 14 hr of work Randy and I got the TVS on yesterday. We got done at about 3:30 this morning. We had a few problems along the way. My original U bolts wouldnt come off so Randy had to get them off with his trusty grinder. The bolt that lines up the leaf spring to the pearch on the axle was too lage to fit in the hole so you guessed it the trusty grinder had to come out again to fix that as well. One of the pins on my Cal-Traks broke so Randy and I had to go bak to my house to get a bolt that I had bought for it when I first instaled the T-bars. That was after we got hasseled by one of Goose Creeks finest. Im sure there is more but thats all I cant think of right now. All in all the truck looks great. I really didnt expect it to take us that long. I think after we get done healing from this one Randy's wife is going to kill him or me b/c I think he wants a TVS now also. Lastly Mike when ever you get a chance I think we need to meet up at that church again with your super duper camera of yours to take some comparison pics. Stock vs. 2in shackles vs TVS + 1 in shakles. Stock: ![]() 2" shackels in rear: ![]() TVS with 1'' shackels
