Just found this forum a couple days ago. I am in the Air Force and have been in CHS sine 2004, currently reside in Summerville. Picked up the Mach1 in December of 2008 with 12K miles on it. It is Competition Orange, now has 32K on the odometer. Looking forward to getting out to the track next year and picking up some pointers on 1/8th mile racing. The car was stock except for a set of black w/ chrome lip bullitts that were on from the previous owner.
Current mods - JLT RAI, MGW short throw, Borla cat-back, N/X wet 100 shot w/ autometer cobalt series Electric Nitrous bottle pressure, Fuel pressure gauges, and a 10Lb bottle w/ warmer and blow down tube. Fuel pressure safety switch and window switch currently set for 3-6K RPM's, I plan on adjusting this by next year, and a cup holder control panel w/ switches to control everything. I think that is it for the N/X kit. Also have a 1/2" Intake spacer from PHP. I am having the rear-end built when I get home and have all the parts waiting on me. Moser 31 spline axle's w/ studs, Motive 4.30's, Ford Racing Diff cover, Detroit True Trac Diff, install/bearing kit. I also picked up a SCT SF3/X3 Handheld tuner w/ the Bama tunes, so we will see how the e-mail tune works out. I still have to pick up some tr6 plugs and diff fluid. Everything will be done at HHP racing for the install, they did my nitrous kit and everything has been flawless so far, never had a chance to put a bottle through her so it will be interesting to see what she lays down. Well, I think thats it for now. I am laying everything out there because I do not plan on racing for money and hustling, and I do not care if everyone knows what is done. Thanks for reading. |
