So yesterday (Sunday), I was informed that my store manager was moving to another store permanently due to that person having to take medical leave for an extended period of time. This left me being promoted at the store, getting a few more $ an hour, and some desperately needed overtime.
Now mind you I worked for this company before, left to go work at ford, then was asked back for an immediate promotional position compared to when I left. Its been 4 months and up until Sunday...much of nothing happened, leaving me desperately strapped for cash and wondering what the hell I was going to do. So im hugely excited, finally the financial burden is lifted to a great degree, no more worrying (atleast for the most part)...only to find out today that the decisions to move people around yesterday which gave me a promotion, has since been reversed and I'm back where I was. So that leaves me saying WTF? and is that crap even legal? I so need to find a new job, but this market sucks, and I want to vent to the district manager about how i feel f'd over, but i dont want to ruin the only work oppurtunity I have at the moment. Signing off, 1 pissed off SOB
