Another thing when i try to jump the starter using a wire from the battery feed nothing happens. Im assuming this is b/c of the low reading or a bad engine ground. Any input? Thanks!
A full battery should read 12.7 volts. If you have the heavy guage wire going to the starter you shoul be able to jumper between the heavy cable and the small wire from the ign switch (in neutral) and have it spin over. If not you may have a ground issue. Check grounds from battery to the engine and engine to firewall or chassis. 11.7 SHOULD turn over at least.
