Default Hello from California

Well, I got a three week school in California. I run the armory on the USS Chief a coastal minesweeper. Ship needed a Small Arms Instructor(SAMI) so I'm here learning. Stressed it at first cause another guy failed out miserably but so far I'm doing great. Made a 100 on my entry test and today scored expert on two courses of fire with the 9mm and no one else did on both but two people on one each. I scored a perfect 240 out of 240 and a 239 out of 240. Also know alot more about weapons than I ever did. California is awesome and cant wait to leave Texas to come here next year when the base closes. Before that though another 10 monther in the Middle East. The Cobra...pretty much forgot about her. She sits in the garage and I just work nonstop it seems. After I get back from the gulf I'll be doing headers, k-member, fuel system, and tune. Thinking about selling the KB and getting Whipple though and a black one. Hope all is well with everyone- Shane

Hi Shane. Glad to see you back in the States. Don't have too much fun with all them weapons.
