mines got an LS3 too... no DOD here but still has a swimming pool for an oil pan apparently.

I've always read good things about the german blends. where can you even get that stuff?

I think most people run Holy water in their LS motors. They are the chosen ones you know!

I ran mobil 1 in my gto and the shit looked new when it came out, save for the cracked piston.

yes, 0w-40 m1 is good if you can find it in the big jug. i prefer that to the 5w-30 on my turbo vette

I run 10w 30 Mobil 1 with 2 wix 1515 filters. but my oil cap is now 15qt.

honestly, this works just as good. i would rather do that than spend $100 on an oil change. and the engine doesnt really care anyway most of the time. everyone has their own theories and gut feelings on oil though.

vr1 10w30 is 5.99 a qt. pretty cheap for some bad ass oil.

Autzone no longer carries is, O'Rieleys doesnt either. Advance had the 0w40 European Formula but it didnt say made in Germany, it said made in Bolivia. it was also 8.99 an effin qt... I'm going to end up just running normal mobil1 since it'll be 50-60 instead of 100 to do an oil change.
