'06 LBZ GMC sierra 3500 dually. its going to be a driver/towing truck for an enclosed trailer and/or camper. mod list so far is:
egr delete
intake heater delete
pcv relocate
big left exhaust manifold
downpipe
cat delete
4" exhaust
rebuilt turbo with upgraded bearings (did that since it will have exhaust braking)
efi live towing tune
transgo jr shift kit
deep trans pan
air bags

i bought the truck with a broken crank. i located a used #2 main cap that fit tight in the block, had it line honed, and rebuilt the engine. everything bolted to the engine got rebuilt/resealed/cleaned/etc other than the injectors which i cleaned and put back in since they are ~$800 each. this is the most ridiculously tedious and overly expensive engine i have built. i now tell anyone in the market for a duramax that its an awesome truck.... until it needs repairs.
