That's one of the reasons we were trying to set up a meeting so we could help each other out with some wrenching. There not that bad especially if you have the right tools. Once you see it done, and then do some yourself you'll get the hang of it. |

I dont know if Randy would be willing help seeing as though ive been messing up his name but is sure would appreciate it. So Randy are you up for it?
1)well how long does it take? 2)when are you guys available? 3)Whos house? I dont think i will have time this weekend because of the strip and church. 2) Next week Monday Tuesday Fri-Sun would be good for me. This is a good thing if you guys are willing to help out because my wife is questioning the amount of money ive been spending on my truck lately. It would save me the money i would have to pay Mitch ( sorry Mitch no offence ) 3) I dont mind going to one of your houses because i really dont have the tools around here for that kind of stuff. If you want to bring the tools here thats fine but its your choice. Quote:
If you guys are willing to do this for me i can supply labor, food, beer, lawn mowing, car washes. What ever you want! EDIT: I told you the days we could work on the truck because thats the days my wife works late and i didnt want to bother her with my crap. After talking to my wife she said we could do it any time that is convienint ( spelling) for yall she also said " she might enjoy it". Thanks Guy in advance for any help you can give me because im mechanicaly ( spelling again ) retarded. |

If Randy helps it shouldn't take long at all. The thing is I'd want you to do a few; so next time if we aren't available you would feel comfortable doing them alone.
Last time I did my plugs it took me 10-15 minutes. It was only that quick because I had the blower out of the way. I think Randy has done his a few times, so I'm sure he is proficient at it. So depending on how quickly you learn plan on a couple hours to be on the safe side. Go ahead and get the plugs, and gap them to what ever you want so that will be out of the way. You can bring the truck to my house, I should have all the tools we need, and if I don't I'll buy what we need. -Mike |

We are going to try and get Chris's plugs changed early next week. I'm on call 24/7 so I can't set an exact date, but I'm hoping either Monday or Tuesday. Everyone is welcome to come help. I'll post up when we know which day, and I can get directions to anyone that needs it.
As far as the weekend goes, if I'm off I'll be at the track. Even if you don't want to race you can come and hang out. I'm not going to be racing every weekend. We only have until the end of March before Low Country closes |

I did it at nite with a flashlight in 1hr 45 mins (garage light was not bright enough with hood in the way) Just lemme know when and where 408-1007 ask for Randy (AKA Stan LMAO!) |

Can't wait to see that sti run. What is the name of that color. Looks real close to a color my buddy painted his car; we called it watermelon. I can't see the powder in those pictures, I'd have to see them in person. |

It's like 3 different colors not sure what the official name would be It changes colors from red's to purple to magenta depending on the light. We drove to Miami to buy it ,the interior is all custom carbon fiber and leather the engine is a custom built EJ25 forged, It has an Injen intake,ApexI downpipe ,Heads, Cams ,66mm turbo full Blitz front mount Intercooler with NOS direct to the intercooler for cooling, Turboxs big mouth BOV,3" ApexI exaust,60# injectors,Full Race 6 puck clutch, built gear box,Eckutek Standalone fuel management system,Turbo xs Boost controler, I think he runs it at 25PSI not sure tho, It's enough to make my truck look like a pinto from a roll, and a horse and cart from a dig (AWD owns).
Not sure what time I will leave anytime is good for me unless the UPS man gets here with my goodies,Then I will be late |

I'm in for meeting up. I will be in Mike's subdivision, just around the corner. My buddy, who is riding with me lives in Woodland Lakes. I get off of work at 2pm in North Charleston and will be heading that way.
