Very nice times for the setup. I think your 1/4 mile times are our 1/8th times.

It was probably a competition engineering. They are known to require way more work to get a good fit. The bends are off a great deal sometimes as well. I'd recommend a wolfe racecraft Link or something along those lines quality wise. Even then you still might have to make some minor adjustment in the fit-up. When it comes to a quality pre-bent kit you get what you pay for. Also depending on what material you use chrome moly/mild steel decides what weld process has to be used. Mig for mild steel/ tig for chrome moly. Depending on the extent of the cage The best option is to have a reputable chassis shop make the kit custom. There is a guy around here that does great work named Jody swing as well. He did the six-point in my old cobra. http://camtechcustom.com/ http://www.sheppardracecars.biz/

I was having a problem with the car twisting on the launch. It was picking up the left tire real high while the right tire was close to the ground. I put an airbag in the right rear coil spring, problem solved. I'm sure I'll need an anti-roll bar when the windsor goes in. I guess we will be ok for now @ this power level.

I remember talking to you now. It is a competition engineering kit. It's not a bad kit, it requires more mods to fit than what I expected. I did some test fitting myself before I took it to Buddy for the install. He put some major hours in putting this thing in my car. I would have went the custom route, but was out of our budget. I had someone else lined up (a co-worker of mine), and he bailed on me. We were going to do it together, but he didn't feel too good about doing the job. I had already bought the cage, so we were stuck with it. Buddy gave me a fair price and he did a good job for me. If we ever build another car, I will go the custom route next time.

I need to. That's all for the blue car. As soon as I can figure out how to get the still shot of the wheelie from Rockingham, I'll put it up.
