Default Bought a Lightning

95 white truck. I am going to try to pick it up tomorrow. It's a 2 owner truck and needs to be "demodded", ie bug deflector, tool box, and trim on the tailgate. It's a 2 owner vehicle and a older man traded it in, so hopefully it's not been beat on too bad.

The first issue with true blue is to get it repaired. Maybe one day I can get in there and play with the big boys.

Thanks for the complements. The truck has some miles, but hopefully it'll be reliable transportation for a while.

Got it home and it's not too bad. It needs a few odds and ends, but I think it will work out. Mike came by and got a few pics of it, but it was dark, so I'm not sure how they'll turn out.

Mike, thanks for the help "de-grandpa-ing" the truck.

Mostly light bulbs. 1 in the dash, under hood lamp, a fog light.
The fog light switch needs to be fastened back to the dash, and the truck needs major detailing inside and under the hood.
The original paint is in great condition. 3-4 small dings, nothing major. I am going to change the fuel filter, and put a set of plugs and wires on it.
That'll about do it so far. Oh, it's getting a new set of tires tomorrow.
The ones on it are toast.

Mike took them. Maybe he'll get a chance to post them up. When I was looking, I wasn't sure how I would like the white color, but now I do. I definately know it's going to be easier to take care of than the dark blue. I won't make it as show pretty as yours, but hopefully I can keep it clean and get some good miles out of it.
