So I finally get the pulley in that I've been waiting for and get the car back together this afternoon. I start the car to make sure everything's cool and that I don't have any vacuum leaks. I runs a bit rough as I start it, and when I walk around the front I see one of the damn injectors is leaking and spraying fuel all over the motor. Ruining every damn thing I just took off to repaint and clean up! My coil covers, plenum, and blower were all victims of having the paint destroyed! I took that fuel injector off and moved it to another spot to see if maybe it was just that injector or it was me not pushing the fuel rail on correctly. Sure enough it was that injector as it sprayed out again. I'm not sure what the problem could be, it still has an o-ring on it, and I pushed the fuel rail down as far as I could. I'm going to try and replace the o-ring and see if that fixes it. Looks like at least another week without the car!

Sounds like you have an LT1, LMAO! Mine fights me like that all the time... any mod is a battle when it comes to my car.

i worked at ford for sometime and found the orings to leak alot. no matter how careful you are. they just suck sometimes. trash in the port causes it, double check the oring. kinda roll it inside out to see if there is a tear or crack. whether you replace it or not, try to set that one or that side in first when setting the rail back in, but use some vasoline around the ring to ease it in. ill see if i have any orings for injectors here. ill pm you if i find some. are they stock injectors or aftermarket?

Stock injectors. After taking it off and looking at it, it looks like it's not sitting right on the injector. Almost like it has a kink in it, I'm hoping that's all it takes.

yes that becomes a problem too. with all the intakes leaking and injector issues ford has i have seen aftermarket shops burn vehicle to the ground from not seating the injectors right.
