I wouldn't waste time going from 3.55 to 3.73. Jeff just needs to go 4.10's and not be scared. Actually, I think some more cage would help

Thanks for the compliments everyone ! I am very susprised with the car for sure ! I've got so much more room to still do stuff to the car , it kind of worries me about the way it launches now ! I'm still running a factory cam (B303 ) , gears , porting the heads and so on . I've looked into getting a custom cam made for the car and from what I'm hearing there is easily another 50hp in that alone .

I need 4:10s since I've got wide ration planetaries in my trans . It's got a short 1st gear and long 2nd and 3rd . If I had the stock gear set for an AOD in the car 3:73s would be ok .

Jeff, That is an awesome picture, and a great launch. I just sold my two Pontiac motors this past Sunday and now have some cash for the front of my car. Just trying to decide on how to spend it. I'd love to get my car to do that!
