Thanks guys and next time I'm out feel free Whittle, I know your setup is crazy. Very clean as well.

Topgun, I'm running walbro 400's with a kb voltage booster on them, 8an feed, 1 to 1 fpr.

Here is some reading for you. I don't like the idea of pushing the pressure up on the Walbros. They flow horribly up near 100#s of pressure. Kinda a catch 22. The 80s are a little short and like the added pressure.

Thanks for the info Jim, I was aware of their flow charts. I have them humming at 17.5 volts, but there's no doubt a wall at 90psi. A larger injector is the real fix and get my base back to 43 or so.

As long as you are aware of this design limitation. I wonder how much the increased voltage helps? 12v to 13.5v adds some headroom. Jumping all the way up to 17.5 will definately add more. But the question is exacly how much???

I just chose to make the switch from Walbro 255s to Aeromotive 340s in mine. Direct swap. No BAP right now. But maybe if I don't like what I see.

Not familiar with everyone on here and I know i see your sig pic but do you tow with the truck and that TC? Whats the max you can tow?

I have been wanting to get a stall for my set up but was staying at or below 2500ish for towing: car/trailer 4500-5000#s i would guess.

thanks!

That truck is crazy running, I know you were happy when you showed me the time ticket. You seem to be having more fun with the truck than the Mitsubishi you use to have.lol

Rob when you got that truck did you plan on taking it this far or was this not planned? Just curious.

I have seen Rob pulling his boat down I26 @70 mph one night when I was on my way home from the track. That boat has to be over 4,500lbs with the trailer.

I just looked up the specs on the tc. It's a 10 1/4" 2B stall, so it's 2800-3000. It drives great, I can easily go thru the gears shifting at 2,000 taking off. When pulling the boat I can get away with a little more because I have it setup on a manual locker switch. I usually take off 1-2 unlocked the hit third and lock it and away I ago. If i'm above 50mph or so I'll go to 4th and lock it.

I would think a 2500 would workout for you, but calling a tc builder may be your best bet.

As far as fun with the truck, it's been great. It's something different, so it has it's own unique challenges.

As to whats next with it, i'm still in the planning stages for building an engine. Not looking to do it soon though. I'd like for this engine to hang on for another season, but I already accepted a long time ago that one day it's going to come home on a flat bed if I keep this crap up. I've already told my neighbor and good friend of mine not to judge red when that day gets here, she went out fighting. lol
