Welcome, oh BTW the MACH1 is a GT. Only thing that makes it a MACH1 is the "R" Code in the VIN. If you take it to the stealership for service you will notice the paperwork stating Mustang GT. No where does it state MACH1. I know because I owned one at one time or another.

I like the list of mods. There are a few more that can be added that will go undetected. Have you had it to the track yet?

I dont care what Ford says...it's a 4v with better gears and about 50 other things that make it another animal...it's a MACH1

I went to the track a while back, nothing in the past year though....it has been a while.

I've never had a problem sleeping even when I owned my 70 and 04 mach they are just cars.

You know the truth about what? that it has a 305 hp 4v and 355 gears? They dyno a/t 250 RWHP and the manual 273RWHP
The 05 3v's ran the same times as the Mach. The new 5.0 would embarrass the mach. so no need for chest thumping even with a 100 shot.

I love my Mach1 and don't consider it just another Mustang. I am not saying it's the baddest mother fucker alive. If I wanted a GT I would have bought a GT, I wanted a Mustang w/ a little more history to it. YOU should be able to understand that if you really owned both of them(Mach1's). Who said anything about "Chest bumping." Did I ever claim I was coming in here and going to whoop everybody's ass at the dragstrip, or that I am faster than you or anyone else? I actually think I made it pretty clear in the OP what my intentions are. Thanks

Now did I say anything about racing?

No, because I just have a slow S10 grocery getter soccer mom SUV. I do understand the heritage of the mustang though. I also owned an 02 GT before I bought the 04 Mach1. I had a lot of fun with all the mustangs I owned. Unfortunately I had to get rid of the Mach to get a pickup that was needed more than the Mustang.

I do have to keep myself away from the Ford dealerships. That damn 5.0 Mustang keeps hollering my name.
