Ok so the shipping company contacted me and said they were only going to give me $70 for all the damages. Thats really lame but what can you do?
I had to do something to make me feel better so I ordered a Turbonetics T-66 ball bearing turbo with F1 turbine wheel, T4 manifold, and a single turbo oil supply and drain kit. Now I dont have to bother with the vsv's (supra sensors for twins) that are broken. This is the after pic of twins removal ![]() ![]() Today I was able to remove the driveshaft, crossmember, supply and return fuel lines, motor mount bolts, and a couple of connecting wires. I am really close to removing the stock SC300 engine.

Just received today fuel pump and water pump. Attached is pics of turbo and bov. The dog is on the table purely for size reference of turbo.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I received the oil line kit from driftmotion and also got my manifold so I bolted the manifold and turbo up, couldn't help it. ![]() ![]() I was ready to pull the stock 2jzge, took about an hour ![]() With a little help it came right off ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm gonna let em get to know each other a little better tonight.

That "skinny dog" eats two bowls of organic food a day and sleeps in a bed at night. Not to mention is in the house most of the day which is at 72 degrees. If anybody needs to eat more its me! Here is an accurate picture of what they do most of the day
![]() Don't feel so bad now huh? Lets get back on track....Today I ordered a blitz 3" midpipe, 3" downpipe, 4" intake piping, and turbosmart 38mm wastegate from driftmotion.com Tonight I removed the oil pan from the SC300 and am including step by step process. I will try and get it tapped for oil return sometime soon also but here is the oil pan removal. I flipped the sc300 engine upside down so I could take pictures of the removal which will make it easier on me and whoever uses this build as a guide. The oil pan has two parts, lower and upper. The black lower section is the first thing you have to take off, you cannot remove the larger upper oil pan until this is first removed. ![]() Once the 10mm nuts and bolts are removed, use a small flathead and lightly tap between the two pans it will slowly inch itself apart. This next pic is after lower pan is removed ![]() Remove the pickup which should have 3 bolts holding it on ![]() With that removed you should see a tray which you will also need to remove ![]() Now with that gone you can see your rotating assembly. ![]() Now you need to start removing the upper pan bolts, dont forget these near bellhousing ![]() Now remove the bolts inside the pan marked in the photos ![]() ![]() I used the back of a hammer which fit perfectly into the little slots between the pan and block, lightly lift up and start to seperate, do the same on other side. ![]() ![]() Once you see it is moving go ahead and start to seperate the pan near back of motor. Put an extension in slot and hit with hammer just hard enough to move it. Do the same on other side ![]() ![]() After that it should come right off and look like this ![]() Your engine should now look like this, you can really see all of the rotating assembly now. ![]() Last thing to do is prepare the SC300 oil pan for an oil return line in the obvious spot.

Man. I haven't been on here in so long and I just ran across this build. That's to bad because I have a TON of 2jzgte stuff. A few of which you just listed. You may have seen my ad on supraforums under our local. And to ForceFed4g63, I have a clean 96 sc300 with TT brakes, TT hks coilovers, and TT wheels I will sell along with a 95tt supra roller. it has fresh paint and just need the motor/trans put back in and a hug parts list. I also have a 99 frc 6speed vette for sale. I'm sell every bit of my car stuff. Don't have time anymore. Looks like you have a good start on your build. Hope everything goes smooth. I would be carful with suprastore.com.

My custom brand new single turbo engine harness from tweakedperformance was ready and to prepare for that I went ahead and removed the aristo harness and the harness from the SC.
![]() ![]() ![]() Cam from tweaked dropped off the new harness. This harness looks awesome! Everything is brand new on it, including connectors. Def recommend these guys for anyone doing the swap and looking for a clean engine bay. They deleted the vsv's and other things that weren't going to be used to reduce wiring under the hood. Here is a couple of pics of the new harness. Cam went over all the connectors with me and I went ahead and marked them to ease install. Great customer service and product from tweaked. ![]() ![]() The oil pan was next on the agenda so I started on that. I wanted the studs to be the same as the Aristo so I needed an 8mmx1.25 tap kit. Lowes, parks auto parts, home depot, and northern tool were out or didn't have it in stock. Sears of all places had it for $8 and I got the last one. I was also pretty impressed with the girl working in the parts department, not bad at all. No I didn't get a pic of her but I should have. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I cleaned up the drain hole a little bit with my dremel that I hate with a passion. I will probably hit it one more time to make sure it is perfect ![]() The engine mounts from the sc300 need to be used so I went ahead and switched those out. ![]() ![]()

Fuel pump is wired and installed in car
![]() ![]() The oil pan has been drilled tapped and reinstalled on the engine. I also removed the oil return studs out of the aristo and am installing them into the 2j. ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a picture of my office for the last month!! ![]() Changed out the plugs ![]() ![]() All coolant lines from stock twins have been deleted/rerouted. ![]() ![]() The second pic of the underside of the water pump. Does anyone know where this leads to or if I need to block it off??? I bolted the turbo on to clock the compressor housing and oil suppl/drain. ![]() ![]() ![]() The cast manifold did not bolt right on, took three times to the dremel just to slide it over the studs. Glad to have that out the way.

Ok all I can say is sorry for the delay but now I have finished pics of the swap.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have been driving to work for the past 3 weeks just takin it easy on her. I am trying to build my bank account back up so I can go get her tuned soon. I have basically stayed out of boost, maybe 1-2 psi because I couldn't stand to not hear the bov. She drives awesome, no leaks, no hiccups. Power steering, AC, and all accessories work fine. Tranny shifts smooth at least now before I can throw some power at her. I cant wait to get her tuned and on the dyno and look at the numbers. |

Haha, I hear ya. Everything has a price tag but it might be pretty high right now. I am just glad all the hard stuff is over with. I am enjoying driving her to work every day and hearing that turbo spool.
