Had some more paint work done on the front of the car and got rid of the black panel in the back.

Got the 12-bolt in the car this weekend, only to be cut short by DS issues. The aftermarket aluminum shaft only had about 3/16 of an inch play front and back, which is odd.

I just got back from Joint & Clutch, they are putting a 1310/1350 conversion joint on the back end and installing a slip yolk that is 3/4in shorter. It should be done and in by Thursday. Once I get that in, I still need to clearance the LS1 brakes (Thanks MonteC) and have Badbob install some LCA reloacation brackets on the rear end.

Sure am! I measured the shaft from the center of each end cap and got 41 3/4in... which is the stock length. The only thing we could think of is the slip yolk being an issue. This should take car of all issues.

No hurry, I'm pulling my transmission tonight, so I'm out for a lil bit while Gerald works his magic.

Got this fawker in... Just need to install the sway bar, bleed the brakes and clearance the calipers.

However, I will need some LCA relocation brackets and possibly some adjustable LCA's. I'm not sure if the rear shocks had this much forward angle on them or not. Maybe I will get some time tonight to measure and be sure the rear is nice and centered.

I got both on my car and it hooks OK. I am just not sure which hole in the LCA relocation brackets I should put my LCAs in. I got them in the bottom hole but have heard of people running them in the middle hole and people running them in the bottom hole. If you can find out let me know.
