New Parts Galore.

Do they not have rack and pinion for those yet? I always hated my steering box. They always developed slop prematurely.

Wonder who will be driving there car first? you or me???? About ready to drop my 347 in.

Had a head bolt pull the threads out of the block, Fixed it with an EZ-LOK insert.
Had an intake manifold bolt break off as I was putting the final torque on it...
Machined a drill guide and drilled it out without pulling the intake.
Now I just need to mate the trans up and drop it in......

Once that is done I have a laundry list of "little" projects before it is cruise worthy.

Nope, not mine. Mine hasnt moved under its own power in over 6 years. And my car had no front suspension this past weekend. Thats why I thought it was so funny that you saw my car out and about.

I got Selepak'd out of my old rear brakes. So i upgraded the rotors and painted the new calipers and brackets this time.

Got the headers installed.

LOL it is hot. Im a little stuck at the moment. I need to measure for the wheels but im not sure how to support the car to get a correct measurement. I need the new wheels so I can finish installing the front brakes.

take a measurement from all four fenders to the ground. Jack the rear up high enough to get the back wheels off and put it on jack stands then measure the fender to the ground . Take the difference and put shims(pieces of wood) under the front tire until the front is raised the same amount as the back. I did this method before and it worked for me.

I am moving to guam so Getting the barbie car ready to sell is more imporatant than the mustang or BMW at the moment. I just have to drop the engine in and hook up all the plumbing. then it is an incomplete driver.... too bad a new top and paint for the Miata are trumping 2 days of work on the mustang.
