what makes a truly unique and individualized car, different from a just plain riced out car?

what would you take OFF this car, to make it not "ricey" ??

WOW... I would ditch the body kit, wings, and decal. Less is more in my opinion.

The answer is yes the car is riced out. I would ditch the tail-lights/bodykit/hood/decals/wing and the car would look good again. And $17,500 is a absurd price for that thing.

that car is owned by a guy named anthony and has a powerzone tune in it and is slow as shit. i raced him years ago with my old fox. at one point i think he wanted 20k for that. i told him than he wants way to much for that car and he told me that he has more in it and feels it is worth it. he will not be able to sell it until he comes back to reality

17,500 seems like a bit too high but i like the way it looks except for maybe the wing

the wing, fenders, hood, front/back bumper, taillights, and wheels...at a minimum need to come off. It is one terrible looking car, none of the crap on it is functional...which makes it that much worse. There is obviously alot of time/money/blood/sweat/tears in that thing...it was just done so poorly

Have you bumped your head?

i did sell my silverado to buy a lightning so sounds like my thinking cleared up a bit, besides all cars can't look the same. there is no blueprint for a car everyone likes. some will like some will hate just the way it is.

LXtasy

Personal attack? Don't flatter yourself. You being in GC , you should know what I mean. GC is filled with the "let's add all the stuff that doesn't go together and flow with each other" on one car.

never said i was in love with it. i just know how hard it is to restore something with the detail he has, so i hate to talk down on all of the hard work that is involved. i don't have alot of money so it really rewarding for me so i don't really like putting down someones ride.

Well, if you see it in person you will understand. He wants way to much for that car.

He has had that car for sale now for over 2 years. I personally told him that he was asking way to much and if he wanted to really sell it than he would lower the price down to a reasonable range.

Read his add. He knows he wants WAY MORE than KBB. He told us that day he is asking for the car what he has in it for purchase of the car and PARTS. Not really including the labor.

A car is NOT AN INVESTMENT. (nothing modern at this time)

Nothing on that car goes with each other. many of the parts are of "tuner culture" Car lost all respect with the rice crap on it. Car is nothing but any ugly slow dog that if you PAY real close attention to the car you will see that. Guess you have to see it in person.

Talking to him you can tell he is full of stupidity and self centerness. I think Mikey was there when I ask if he will ever go to the track and he said "why waste gas racing at the track when the street is right there....plus my car doesn't hook on the track"

i see what you are saying sounds like you got a good first hand look and all i see is a couple of photos. if you haven't got a bite in over 2 years something is definetly wrong. you just can't reason with some people.

I'd get rid of the tail lights, z3 fenders, body kit oh yes the decals. The wing, and hood can stay but finish it off with the rest of the Saleen lower kit. the rest can stay. It will then fit in at the local shows.
