Down to the paper filter and all season tires, with a passenger.

Pretty impressed with the 6cyl considering it runs just as fast as the truck did stock, and faster than the wife's 2v GT when it was stock.

 DAMN!

I know, technology has came a long way.... This car is heavy as shit and loaded with creature comforts, has 4 doors, gets 30+ MPG and is on par with most of the 99-08 performance cars with 2 less cyl's.

I'm sure it is heavy as well, but the turbo helps.

It feels slow, and it doesn't like manual mode at all and that's how I've tried to race it. Apparently, it just likes to be put in drive and left alone.

I did not expect it to do that well, it just felt too slow.

There's only three bolt-ons out there for them right now, exhaust, Intake, and a tune. There's nothing else out there for them and probably woln't be until someone figures out how to make another direct injection fuel pump that is better then stock.

But the fastest one out there with exhaust, tune, and an intake is running 12.2@111 and 7.8's @ 88. His is a PP SHO, meaning it has bigger brakes and a lower gear ratio than my Non PP car. I'm running smaller wheel's than most of them are and it puts my non PP SHO on par with the PP sho's

The SHO vs The G8 would be a close one. Whoever leaves first would win...

They Jump the boost up in the tune and take torque management out so that you can actually adjust the power bias on the AWD more than I can using the button on the dash and it jumps up the 60's from launch and the extra boost adds about 70HP. thats on a tune alone.

What about running a Boost-A-Pump, i dont know anything about the fuel system on the sho but i know they work wonders on alot of other cars pumps.

They tried that, and you have to understand how it works to know why a boost a pump doesn't work.

The car has a single 255 in the tank, but its only to prime the DI pump, the DI pump is a mechanical pump that runs off the motor, the only thing a BAP would do is bump up the voltage on the prime pump that runs at 1/4 the pressure of the DI pump. Essentially doing nothing.

probably wont be long before someone jumps on that oportunity to make a killing with higher flowing mechanical pumps. Are the injectors still the same at least?

No, the injectors are different because of the pressures they operate at, good thing is, there's plenty of headroom with them stock.

Pulley upgrade?

If its anything like the older mechanical pumps, its driven off the camshaft i think.

Couldnt help it. I knew it was a waste to try the truck with imports on skreet tires ruining the track.
