Checked a few of the part numbers and the ones listed are for dpf equipped trucks. Fords 6.4 and chevys 6.6. It was only a matter of time before the epa did something.

That being said if you want a tuner for your 08 or newer better get it from spartan or h&s before they stop selling them to!

GM also locked out the 2011 duramax. In order to tune a vehicle legally you have to be able to down load the tune from the OBDII port then change and flash it back in. Well for years all the after market tuning software were able to crack the code to unlock the factory pcm to tune them. Well GM out smarted them on 2011 duramax and just locked the PCM where you can't download the tune from the ODBII port. EFI Live who is probably the biggest duramax tuning software has already pretty much given up on the 2011 duramax.

Unbelievable... Actually totally believable considering who is running the country. I would imagine this will ultimately result in less money being made by multiple companies, resulting in the possibility of layoffs, all because of an unproven theory that has holes the size of Jupiter.

All this from the party that supposedly cares about jobs.

Liberal ass wipes. I'd bet you would find these same diesels in their garage. Man don't even get me started. What will they think of next in order to control our lives.

I don't agree with this policy.

From the head of NASA
Quote:
I have no doubt that ... a trend of global warming exists. I am not sure that it is fair to say that it is a problem we must wrestle with. To assume that it is a problem is to assume that the state of Earth's climate today is the optimal climate, the best climate that we could have or ever have had and that we need to take steps to make sure that it doesn't change. First of all, I don't think it's within the power of human beings to assure that the climate does not change, as millions of years of history have shown. And second of all, I guess I would ask which human beings — where and when — are to be accorded the privilege of deciding that this particular climate that we have right here today, right now is the best climate for all other human beings. I think that's a rather arrogant position for people to take

Wasn't it Nixon, a republican, who started the EPA? ...and you had 8 years of Regan, 4 years of Bush, and 8 years of Jr to do something about it. When Sr was president, I was told I had to put my damn air pump and catalytic converters back on my car to pass an inspection. Joe you were probably right there supporting the inspections, turning people in for removing their cats.

If electronic tuners fall by the wayside, the injector replacement way of performance enhancement ought to pick up.

It doesn't matter who started it, it matters who is implementing and abusing it now. I think we can all agree that the EPA has gotten out of control. I'm all for conservation and protecting our natural resources and wildlife, but when it starts to infringe on our basic rights is when I have a huge problem.

To play devils advocate... what basic rights are being infringed upon?
