Default Ebay Douche flaked... 1997 bmw $2200

need it gone tomorrow...

1997 BMW 540I with the getrag 6 Speed. 190K miles
2.89 limited slip differential
Top speed limited to 155MPH at the factory. Get a tuner to remove that and this is a 180mph car.
Has the upgraded BBS style 19 wheels in the 17X8 size with 235/45ZR17 tires.
I have detailed service records spanning from 2001 to 2010
I took ownership in april 2010 and documented the service in an EXCEL spreadsheet but did not keep the receipts.
This car is a plush ride. Heated leather seats, heated leather steering wheel with integrated controls, key coded memory settings for steering wheel placement and drivers seat settings
Car is a dark Champagne with black leather seats / interior with burled maple accents.
Aftermarket Hella LED tail lights
Has an optional 12v power socket in the glove compartment.
BMW 6 Disc cd changer hidden in the trunk as well.
Clear side marker lenses
No rust, clean driver.

Recent maintenance/repairs include:

New front and rear BMW emblems
Front brake pads with wear sensor
MAF Sensor (Mass Air Flow Sensor)
IAC Valve (Idle air Control valve)
Intake manifold gaskets
ICV valve (BMW's version of the PCV valve at the back of the intake manifold)
most of the vacuum hoses have been replaced. The only ones not replaced are the ones that attach to the IAC.
Spark plugs and boots
Camshaft position sensor
New window Regulators in the front doors
rear window regulators have been repaired with a kit from http://www.bmwrepairkit.com/

It still needs to have a 1550 code solved (Idle air control valve solenoid electrical) I have replaced the IAC valve 3 times and the Check Engine light comes right back on. Doesn't affect drivability Idles beautifully and pulls hard all the way to redline.
as well as getting the sunroof replaced (I have a good working one I just don't have the time to replace it myself) I can hear the motor working when you hit the button but thankfully it failed in the fully closed position.
I pulled the "hot" wire out of the high beam headlight harness. the High beams are always on. If you wanted to repair this you need to replace the LKM and get it coded to your car by a BMW technician.
The ACS and SRS lights are lit as well. The SRS is due to me disconnecting the airbags in the door without disconecting the battery.
The ACS came on after I did the brakes and disconnected the old Brake pad wear sensor without disconnecting the battery. I do not have a Scanner that has the capability to read and clear SRS or ACS codes.

It is in Indian Springs in Summerville.......

Asking $2200 OBO

dumb Q, but if you left the battery disco'd over nite,

would it not clear the codes, when it found them working in the morning?
