Default Netflix REAL TALK

i just have some questions for those who have it. Do you run into any issues with it other than not finding shows you want? My wife mentioned it to me and was thinking about getting it. also how hard is it to setup through an xbox? it says you have to have a gold memebership and i dont know how to set that up too

i have it and i love it... not a lot of new release movies on there, but plenty of awesome shows that i watch regularly... setting it up through ps3/xbox is super easy... you just sign in on the device and it will give you a code to enter online on the netflix site and you're good to go

it works good...
u get a code when u sign up u choose ur console xbox360 they give u a code that lasts 60 min... u enter it and ur unlocked for streaming.

it is ok as far as content goes.. none of the programs are up to date so dont think you will see any of this seasons stuff. or the more popular shows...(big bang theory,2half men ect ect)
if you like the older stuff ur golden tho(greys anatomy, south park, fraiser, house, married with children) you are ok.
they do carry a bunch of documentaries from discovery (shark week, blue plant ect ect) that are good.

i will admit i use it daily as my cable in my apartment... im not their enough to pay 50 dollars for cable tv but i do have dsl internet and netflix.

ive often been told if you want a solid stream you have netflix and hulu plus and you will have allot of the shows you want across the board... idk never used hulu just find it anoying to feed into the rights game and give another 10dollars

movies come out slow...... dont expect anything all to new to come out.. even the new release section is slow moving... and sometimes the show will only be up for x amount of time than be pulled... so u can watch it than if u want to rewatch u go surching and its gone...

it does reamember what you have watched and even more recently has put the shows/series as a serchable content by season.. so if u watch an episode you cna go back and see which u missed...(was not so 5 months ago) also will recomend like 10 shows/movies depending what ur last few watches are..

the first month your in love with it till you start knocking down those series/shows and start trying to find things u want to watch only to find them to new or not able to stream than u start looking at older stuff..

I have it on my wii, easy stuff. Well worth the money just to watch a series straight throug. Only issue I remember was not having the wii set to the correct country and Netflix not showing up at first. Just make sure your wii is set to USA as Netflix isn't available in some countries and won't pop up.

I have it on my Bluray and on a Roku. $80 and they go on sale pretty often. Super easy to setup. Need Wifi or plug straight into your router.

Oh with Roku you can install Plex and watch any movie on your computer wirelessly. No more putting the movie on a usb then plugging it in to the bluray.

Just to give you more options, apple TV is a neat 100 dollar device that you can watch netflix on your tv, you can also hook it up to your laptop any laptop not just apple and have whats on the lap top on the big screen. And if you have an iphone can watch any videos on it on the big screen.

And netflix has a free month trial, so give it a try.
