Default BCM for Monte Carlo

I'm swapping out the BCM on my friend's 2001 Monte Carlo, and I guess I need to program that stupid thing. Does anyone have a diagnostics tool that is capable of doing this?

you cannot swap used BCM's around. the FIRST time you put the key into the ignition the BCM is programmed to that resistance. with a NEW BCM you just plug it in and turn the key one.

what is the problem, and what exactly did you do? its possible a security relearn would help. key on for 11 minutes, key off 11 minutes, repeat 3 times. try to start the car on the key on part each time, sometimes it will learn the first or second time. if it doesnt work after the 3rd then you have a problem.

i can generally diagnose passlock and BCM issues pretty quickly.

if you need a passlock bypass made i can do it. explain the original BCM problem and i can determine if i can fix it, usually i can.
