Default Best paint protectant/sealer/wax?

Girlfriend just bought a brand new 2012 Nissan Altima, and I want to put some kind of sealer/protector/wax on it that will protect the paint from bugs, UV rays, etc.....What have you guys used?

http://www.autogeek.net/carwax.html

I like toyo gaurd and menzerna. If you want to spend some money you could order the Menzerna ceramic sealer.

We can wash and seal the car for $60.

Stupid question, but what is the difference between sealer and wax? How long does the sealer last?

sealer tends to last around 6-9 months, wax lasts 3-4 weeks tpyically, just depends on the quality of the produt that is used. The Zaino system and the Menzerna/Poor boys system i use typically last around 9 months if the car is well kept. It also depends on color and how much the car sits outside. sealer a dark color car that sits outside every day isn't going to last nearly as long as a white car that is garage kept.

I will not dispute this in any way shape or form, but for average guy looking to take care of their nice car, you really can't go wrong with Meguiar's products. You can get them at any auto parts store, they are easy to use, work great, smell good (lol) and you can find great deals on them a lot of the time. Not trying to make any kind of argument one way or the other or get into a pissing match or anything like that, but they have worked great for me for as long as I have owned cars and I won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Sooner or later I'm sure I'll take the jump and move up to some Zaino/Adam's/fill in the blank professional stuff, but for now I love my Meguair's.
