Default ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md.

anyone ever heard of it? this past week my family and i from here went to maryland for a funeral for my Great grandmother. It was held in Perryville MD which is pretty close to Aberdeen and i noticed that every once in a while you would hear a big boom and i asked my father what it was. Well it was "APG" where they test different military artilery and stuff like that. Its been open since like 1916 and i found it cool that my Great grandmother who just passed used to work there and did some work on tanks and stuff. For some reason i found this pretty cool since it was in my familys home town and a family member used to work there. Has anyone on here had any experience with this place or know anything about it?

I am very familiar with it. I was out at Ft. Lewis in Washington St and where we were on the range you could hear mortars being lobed over our heads.

I'm pretty sure I have done some PAH extractions on soil from that site.

cool place my grandfather worked there he always said he wished he could talk about all the cool stuff they got to do they get all the new military stuff there for testing. Basicly if you want to sell it to the military it goes there and they beat the hell out of it then blow it up to see what it can take
