Default Making my car slower.

No more getting out braked by Corvettes after I pass them on the straight.

Loved the Ceramics for AutoX and street; I always swapped them out for trackdays tho.

For the track I never found a set of pads I liked with the OEM calipers. I've tried everything and they all sucked.

Going to try HP+s first; then Carbotech.

If anyone is into brake swaps they are off a 2004 CTS-v. Cost is $145 a corner brand new from GM.

It is scary how light they are.

Are these the same ones that bolt directly to the 4th gen F-body brackets for use with C6Z rotors? That is CHEAP for some badass calipers!

Edit: Yep, same calipers. I had no idea they were that reasonably priced...

The early corvettes in our group I stand no chance against. It is the old guys in c5 and c6 vettes with less balls then me I'm targeting.

Yup; I'm using BMW 745i rotors.

nice score!!! let us know how they haul you down from speed.

will the light weight help avoid heat soak?

The larger rotor should help with added heat capacity. Light weight caliper is just nice as any weight reduction is good weight reduction for a pig of a car.

It isn't about slowing down faster; it is about slowing down consistently with out any ohhhh-shit moments into turn one at CMP.

Yeah true. At the last event I was at we had an old guy in a yellow C6Z that was dirt slow except for the straights. He stood no chance against my buddy and I in our C5Zs. Your general blanket statement still made me laugh with sarcasm though. Lol

I'd say we could put some money on a Time Trial one day but I think that breaks our rules; we would have to run with Nasa.
